Why DLP

Three reasons our clients stay for decades.

01 / OUR PEOPLE

One accountable team.

A strategic balance of directly employed and subcontracted staff. A core in-house workforce — electricians, gas engineers, plumbers, joiners, roofers, bricklayers, plasterers — supported by a trusted, vetted supply chain. The right team for every job, all accountable to DLP.

02 / TRUSTED

Trusted where it matters most.

Regional and national housing associations, local authorities, the NHS, education, blue light services and other government agencies. When the brief is "this has to go right first time," our reputation gets us in the room.

03 / RANGE

From routine to listed buildings.

A leaking roof in a council block. A boiler upgrade in a Victorian terraced property. A roof restoration on a Grade I listed home. We move between them every week — same craftsmanship, same accountability, same team.

What we do

Every trade. One team. One number to call.

Every trade you need, delivered to one standard and accountable to one team — from day-to-day repairs to full refurbishments and renewables.

Conservation bodies have told us this is work worth showing openly. We tend to just quietly get on with it.

Heritage & listed buildings

Conservation & heritage specialists. Currently restoring a Grade I listed property.

Much of our heritage work goes unseen — sensitive restoration delivered quietly and properly. Our team is currently restoring a Grade I listed property, alongside a regular roster of Grade II listed buildings and work in conservation areas.

The reason conservation clients trust us: we have the trades to do this work properly. Conservation-trained roofers. Joiners who can match an 18th-century moulding. Plasterers who know lime from gypsum. Bricklayers who understand traditional bonds and lime mortars.

Clients who keep coming back

We don't win clients on a one-off. We keep them.

Most of our largest accounts have been with us for over a decade. Here's what some of them say.

They turn up when they say they will, do the work properly, and we never have to chase them. That's rarer than it should be.
[Name] Facilities Manager, [NHS Trust]
— and do it sympathetically — is what set them apart for us. We've got specialists we trust, and DLP earned a place on that list.
[Name] [Role], Heritage organisation
For a housing association running thousands of properties, that's exactly what we need.
[Name] Asset Manager, [Housing Association]
Accredited where it counts

The credentials our clients require.

Building maintenance is full of risk — from compliance to health & safety. We hold the accreditations that prove we take it seriously, and we keep them up to date.
